Other collagen snacks use dried fruit to bind the ingredients, but collagen doesn’t absorb when combined with sugar. We use nuts and fibre, which are not only better for you, you get the full benefit of the collagen. Tastes like a naughty, biscuity treat.

The Power of Collagen
What is collagen?
Technically, collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body.
It's found in your hair, your skin, your nails, and is the main protein in your connective tissue, which basically connects your whole body.
What does collagen do?
Collagen helps the connective tissue function properly.
An easy way to explain it is to think of your connective tissue as a wet sponge. You can stretch it, you can pull it… it's pretty elastic. But when it's not in good health, it's like a dry sponge; it's not as hydrated, not as bouncy, and not as full. And as a result, it doesn’t function as well and you appear older.
Why is collagen important to beauty?
As you get older, your collagen production reduces, which is why young people have bouncy, full skin and as you get older your skin seems less elastic.
The more you can boost your collagen levels, the younger you will look and feel. That’s why collagen supplementation is great as you get older because it actually provides a daily source of what your body is creating less of and it makes you look fresher and younger.
What's the best way to boost collagen?
There are lots of skin creams, oils and topical treatments out there, but the best way to boost your collagen levels is by eating it!
That’s because your body can start to use it immediately.

As a nutritionist, I'm always looking for super easy yet tasty and filling snack and meal options to recommend my clients that are based on real food. Beauty Bites are tasty, filling and easy. Plus they're packed with boatloads of micronutrients (bonus of real food).
Cashew Nuts (27%), Almonds, Hydrolysed Collagen (25%), Tapioca starch, Dark Chocolate, Pure Maple Syrup, Camu Camu, Sea Salt, Monk Fruit powder.
CONTAINS: CASHEWS & ALMONDS.
May contain: Other tree nuts from processing line.
How are they different?
Beauty Bites are a healthy, sweet snack made from nuts and hydrolysed collagen protein. Other snacks typically use dried fruit such as dates as their binding agent which creates a product full of sugar (often 25% sugar or more!), or they're made using artificial fillers, thickeners and sweeteners which can play havoc with your hormones and destroy your health. The addition of collagen, which is completely tasteless, has the added benefit of improving your hair, skin and nails naturally.
What do they taste like?
TextThe best way to describe the taste would be like a nut butter biscuit! They're sweet but they’re very low in sugar which is important to ensure you can absorb the collagen.
Why does sugar inhibit collagen absorption?
Sugar in the bloodstream attaches to collagen and elastin molecules via the glycation process, forming harmful new molecules called ‘advanced glycation end products’ (AGE’s). The more sugar you eat, the more AGE’s you develop, and the more collagen and elastin fibres get damaged. The glycation process also transforms the most stable and long-lasting collagen fibres to more fragile fibres. This is one of the main reasons sugar makes us age on both the inside and outside. Too many AGE’s causes the skin to wrinkle, negatively impacts the biomechanical properties of tendons and leads to gut issues (due to damage caused to the intestinal lining resulting in inflammation).
If that wasn’t bad enough, sugar competes with vitamin C for space in cells due the similarities in their chemical structure. Diets high in sugar leads to low levels of vitamin C, thus inhibiting formation of new collagen fibres. For this reason, watch out for supplements that are high in sugar and don’t contain vitamin C because the likelihood is, they probably won’t work!
Where does the collagen come from?
We source our hydrolysed grass-fed bovine collagen from the world's best source, Brazil.
Where are they made?
They're made on the NSW Central Coast, Australia.
They taste amazing, it's hard to believe they're healthy & low in sugar. And I get a boost of collagen at the same time! Nice work guys, these are my new favourite!
When I bit into this beauty bite I felt like I was eating a choc chip cookie! So tasty, like a real sweet treat - but healthy.
